HR Manager (People and Culture)

  Central Malta  |  €40,000 - €45,000  

Our client is looking for an HR Manager (People & Culture). Your roles and responsibilities will include: 

  • Facilitating the employee onboarding process ensuring the best possible opportunity for all new hires to succeed
  •  Conduct new hire orientation meetings, distribute benefits information, and provide guidance to ensure that all necessary documents are received and processed promptly
  • Supporting the Strategic HR function in delivering strategic people solutions aimed at growing the organization in all people-related issues
  •  Following and developing on the team’s performance and competencies;
  • Designing, managing and leading the learning various strategies; primarily the development strategy, feedback culture, reward and recognition, wellness strategy and review these experiences
  •  Managing and creating L&D metrics and analytics to take data-based decisions
  •  Supporting the implementation of company policies that promote a healthy work environment
  • Developing and leading the team building activities to further enhance the opportunities for the team performance to grow
  •  Supporting in managing the HR Budget Expense
  • Generating ideas on innovative HR practices and initiatives for possible implementation
  • Conducting a gap analysis exercise and formulating plans to ensure that the right skill sets are in place;
  • Lead the performance review process ensuring a structured process to employee appraisal system
  • Manage all HR systems engaged in supporting the HR administration
  • Completing any other HR Ad-hoc duties as necessary

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Maltese employment law is a must
  • Strong knowledge of HR Processes and Policies
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role is a must

Education and Experience

  • Level 6 or higher in HR, business administration
  • Prior 3 years international experience in HR is a must
  • Prior local experience is highly desirable
