Our client specializing in the Hospitality industry is looking for an HR Manager. Your roles and responsibilities will include:
Align HR strategies with the hotel's objectives and luxury service standards
Advise the General Manager and leadership team on HR matters to support business goals
Manage the recruitment process to attract top talent across all roles, including guest-facing and management positions
Oversee onboarding, ensuring seamless integration into the hotel’s culture and service standards
Foster a positive, inclusive work environment by managing employee relations and promoting open communication
Address employee concerns promptly and fairly in line with hotel policies
Develop training programs to enhance skills, service quality, and career growth
Oversee performance management, assisting managers with goal setting, feedback, and appraisals to ensure employee success and retention
Administer payroll, benefits, and employee records with accuracy and compliance
Review compensation structures to remain competitive within the hospitality industry
Ensure compliance with Maltese employment laws and regulations
Maintain accurate employee records, manage leave and attendance, and oversee disciplinary processes as needed
Requirements
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a deep understanding of HR best practices and Maltese employment laws
Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to fostering an exceptional work culture. Must have a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence
Candidates must be in Malta, with the legal right of working in Malta
Fluency in both Maltese AND English is a must
Education and Experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior HR role, ideally within hospitality or luxury service industry
A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience in hospitality in general is considered a strong asset
