Our client is looking for an HR Generalist on a 30 hours weekly basis who will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day administrative and human resource operations. The role ensures efficient office management, provides support across various HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations, and assists with administrative duties including facility coordination, travel arrangements, and record keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepares HR documents such as employment contracts, letters, and other HR-related materials.
• Maintains and updates employee records and documentation with strict confidentiality.
• Conducts onboarding and orientation sessions for new employees.
• Oversees offboarding procedures.
• Monitors employee vacation and sick leave records.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and compliance requirements.
• Coordinates work permits and renewals for foreign employees.
• Fosters positive employee relations across the organization.
• Serves as the first point of contact for employee queries related to policies and general HR matters.
• Coordinates the recruitment process, including job postings, interview scheduling, and communication with external recruiters.
• Processes payroll accurately and on time.
• Ensures HR policies and procedures are implemented and updated as required.
• Escalates employee grievances and facilitates resolution in coordination with HR management.
• Provides administrative support to the HR team, ensuring continuity of HR operations during staff absences.
• Welcomes employees and visitors with a positive and professional attitude.
• Assists the Office Manager as needed.
• Coordinates travel arrangements for staff and management.
• Supports the organization and execution of company events and activities.
Requirements:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to prioritize effectively.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems is considered an advantage.
• Minimum of one year of experience in an HR role.
