Our client is looking to onboard an HR Executive to assist with the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probation management, contracts of employees and offboarding.
Responsibilities
Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probation management, contract administration, and offboarding
Process payroll accurately through the Online Payroll System while maintaining up-to-date payroll and employee records
Administer employee leave, sick leave documentation, attendance monitoring, and personnel files
Ensure compliance with Maltese employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices
Prepare employment contracts, HR correspondence, disciplinary documentation, policy updates, and other employee-related communications
Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding support
Act as the main point of contact for employee HR queries and provide day-to-day HR support
Support performance management processes, probation reviews, employee development initiatives, and staff wellbeing programmes
Organise company events, employee activities, staff recognition initiatives, and general HR administration
Support health and safety administration, compliance documentation, and employee inductions
Prepare HR reports, payroll summaries, headcount reports, and other management reports as required
Manage work permit applications in accordance with local regulations
Handle employee contraventions, traffic-related administrative matters, and the submission of petitions
Requirements
Fluent in Maltese & English, both written and verbal
2+ years of local experience in a similar role
Solid knowledge of Maltese employment legislation and HR best practices
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
