We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Executive to join a dynamic and growing organisation based in Malta. In this role, you will support the day-to-day delivery of HR operations, with a strong focus on employee lifecycle management across two departments.
What You’ll Be Doing
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
Manage HR processes across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to offboarding
Support onboarding activities and ensure a smooth integration of new employees
Maintain employee records and ensure all HR documentation is accurate and up to date
Support employee wellbeing and day-to-day HR queries
Compliance & Administration
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, data protection, and company policies
Prepare and submit documentation to relevant authorities (e.g. Jobsplus, Identità)
Handle work permit applications, renewals, and transfers
Maintain structured digital and physical HR filing systems
Payroll & HR Systems Support
Assist with payroll-related processes, including time and attendance verification
Update sick leave records and employee data in HR systems
Work with HR software (including systems such as Shireburn Indigo) to maintain accurate records
Training & Development
Coordinate training activities and assist with applications for funding where applicable
Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives
What We’re Looking For
At least 2 years’ experience in an HR or payroll-related role in Malta
Good understanding of HR practices and Maltese employment legislation
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with HR systems (Shireburn Indigo is an asset)
Proficiency in written and spoken English; Maltese is considered an asset
NVQ Level 5 qualification or equivalent
