Our client is searching for an HR Executive to join their team. This position blends hands-on HR operational responsibilities with project coordination and analytical duties, supporting initiatives that enhance the employee experience, boost organisational efficiency, and reinforce our reputation as an employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and support HR initiatives across the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, wellbeing, and engagement programs.
- Manage training and development initiatives, ensuring they align with company objectives and maintaining accurate records and certifications.
- Oversee EU-funded training programmes, including Investing in Skills (IIS).
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports using Excel or similar tools to monitor key workforce metrics.
- Participate in HR digitalisation and process optimisation projects to improve efficiency, transparency, and data accuracy.
- Work closely with managers and departments to identify workforce development needs and support learning and upskilling opportunities.
- Assist in organising employee wellbeing initiatives, internal events, and engagement activities that foster a supportive and inclusive culture.
- Ensure compliance with Maltese employment legislation and company policies while maintaining ethical and transparent HR practices.
Requirements
- Good command of English; Maltese is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and basic AI tools.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, capable of managing multiple HR initiatives simultaneously.
- Confident in using Excel and data dashboards to analyse and present HR insights effectively.
- Strong communicator with collaborative interpersonal skills and a positive mindset.
Education and Experience
- Experience in the engineering or construction sector is advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR operations or training.
- Degree or qualification in HR, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
