HR Executive

Our client who specializes in the Hospitality industry is looking for an HR Executive. Your roles and responsibilities will include: 

• Maintaining employee records and files and being the point of contact for all employees and stakeholders on all HR matters
• Overseeing other HR-related matters, including attendance sheet monitoring, active participation in recruitment and training processes for new employees, and ensuring staff adherence to all Company policies
• Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems and providing advice on policies and procedures set within the company
• Assisting in the onboarding process for new hires, especially with engagement documentation and work permit processes for third-country nationals. Preparing and handling applications for both EU and non-EU employees
• Dealing with the day-to-day HR administration work
• Supporting the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
• Preparing and maintaining HR documents and reports
• Organizing, and coordinating the training of employees and keeping training log sheets updated with any certificates pertaining to employee training records

Requirements

• Having knowledge of labour legislation
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent command of English and Maltese

Education and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar position
