As an HR Development Executive, you will support and manage core human resources functions across the organisation. Working closely with both leadership and employees, you will ensure that HR processes operate smoothly and compliantly, with a strong focus on employee experience and development.
Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of the HR strategy in collaboration with the leadership team.
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, coordination with agencies, offer management, work permits, and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
Maintain accurate employee records and documentation; handle confirmations, promotions, and offboarding processes; and track attrition through exit interviews and reporting.
Coordinate internal and external training programmes, including grant schemes, ensuring proper follow-up and accurate record-keeping.
Support the performance appraisal cycle, assist with performance improvement plans, and organise employee engagement initiatives.
Oversee employee pulse surveys and the suggestions management process, providing insights to leadership to support informed decision-making and enhance engagement.
Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Maltese Employment Law and relevant EU Directives, while maintaining all required statutory records.
Stay up to date with industry developments and HR best practices.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–4 years of HR experience, ideally within small to mid-sized organisations.
Strong knowledge of Maltese Employment Law.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively at all levels.
Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage HR operations independently.
A self-motivated, flexible individual with a positive, proactive attitude.
