If you're looking to tap into HR and get better exposure on the whole payroll cycle, this opportunity could be the right one for you. It will allow you to join a well-established HR team within the Hospitality industry and eventually progress to a broader HR role.
Responsibilities:
Take ownership and manage the payroll and the Time and Attendance system
Liaise with HODs about the weekly payroll procedures.
Ensure the compilation of employees’ documents such as NI, Tax, Bank letters and ID applications for foreign recruits.
Handle employees’ engagement and terminations through Jobsplus.
Collect and send payroll information to contracted third-party suppliers
Acting as a point of contact to employees for daily queries
Highlight any concerns with the HR Manager.
Build and keep good working relationship with representatives from Jobsplus, Social Services and Inland Revenue departments.
Handle the Sick leave process
Attend all relevant training sessions as required
Work closely with all other Departments to maximise interdepartmental collaboration.
Other ad hoc tasks as required from time to time
Requirements
Previous local experience in a similar role
Experience using Indigo for payroll would be considered a strong asset
A sound knowledge of local employment laws and procedures including the use of HRIS.
