HR & Admin Assistant Manager

  Central Malta  |  €35,000 - €40,000 Annually 

A market leader operating in the retail industry requires an HR & Admin Assistant Manager to join their ranks. They need someone to oversee the planning, organization, and management of all personnel in the Human Resources/Administration department in alignment with the company's goals to achieve set targets. This includes conducting performance reviews and managing employee relations. This position is ideal for a motivated individual eager to contribute their experience to the team and pursue career advancement.

The Role:

  • Coordinate recruitment and selection processes, including advertising job openings, screening applications, scheduling interviews, conducting assessments, and notifying applicants of outcomes.
  • Ensure timely completion of monthly payroll tasks, including data input, calculations, report issuance, bank transfers, and journal voucher verification.
  • Recommend and draft personnel policies aligned with the company's strategic plans and enforce compliance.
  • Maintain and update personnel records and data accurately.
  • Conduct surveys to assess employee job satisfaction and working conditions, investigate employee complaints, identify candidates for promotion, ensure adherence to company policies and regulations, oversee implementation and monitoring of job descriptions, and manage day-to-day administrative activities effectively, including updating car fleet records.
  • Ensure optimal functionality and efficient use of company equipment, maintain master-key box and security alarm system codes, and manage HR and admin tasks in the absence of the HR Manager.
  • Attend HR-related seminars to stay updated on industry trends, oversee maintenance of company premises, fleet records, policy adherence, and perform additional duties as assigned by superiors.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as an HR Executive capable of bringing valuable contributions to the company.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capable of working under pressure, meeting deadlines, taking initiative, being flexible, planning effectively, and demonstrating attention to detail.

Education and Experience

  • An MQF Level 4 qualification or higher in human resources, psychology or a related area
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, with good computer skills.
