Head of Human Resources

  Central Malta  |  €60,000 - €62,000 Annually 

Our client is a leading company on the Maltese islands. As they continue to grow, they are seeking to employ a Head of Human Resources to join their team.

The Role

  • Leads the HR function across the whole group, aligning people strategy with business goals and ensuring effective workforce management across all locations.
  • Develops and executes HR strategies that drive performance, cultural alignment, and organizational growth across diverse business units.
  • Oversees end-to-end recruitment, manpower forecasting, and employer branding to ensure the right talent is in place across retail outlets, factories, and corporate offices.
  • Implements training and leadership development programs to enhance skills, build capability, and prepare future leaders within both retail and manufacturing divisions.
  • Ensures fair, consistent, and legally compliant HR practices, maintaining strong employee and industrial relations across all sites.
  • Designs and manages competitive compensation frameworks, benefits, and performance management systems that drive motivation and accountability.
  • Optimizes HR processes and systems to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and decision-making through workforce analytics and technology.
  • Handle part of the payroll function

Requirements

  • Have at least 5 years experience in Human Resources senior management
  • Demonstrates strength in people leadership, industrial relations, performance management, change leadership, and data-driven HR decision-making.

  • Preferably have a tertiary level of education
