Group HR Manager

  Central Malta  |  €44,000 - €55,000 Annually 

One of our large clients in Malta is looking for a Group HR Manager to design and deliver the company’s HR strategy by shaping a clear vision that promotes teamwork, service excellence, quality, transparency, accountability, innovation, and inclusiveness. This role is central to driving the HR agenda through the development and implementation of systems, policies, and processes that strengthen both the organisation and its people.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Group CEO to define the long-term vision for HR, ensuring CE Group is prepared for future challenges while embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of HR operations, including talent attraction, recruitment, onboarding, employee development, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to assess current and future workforce needs, ensuring robust workforce planning and recruitment strategies.
  • Design and implement tailored employee training and development programmes to support growth and lifelong learning.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to build innovative employer branding and talent attraction initiatives to secure top talent.
  • Proactively address talent gaps and implement retention strategies that enhance engagement and reduce turnover.
  • Provide expert advice and support to both management and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Oversee remuneration frameworks and ensure fair, competitive, and transparent compensation practices.
  • Safeguard compliance with employment law, health and safety regulations, and company policies, ensuring a fair and inclusive workplace.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, building a culture where everyone feels valued and respected.
  • Monitor HR metrics and use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.

What You Bring:

Salary dependent on experience.

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a senior HR leadership role with a strong record of developing and implementing HR strategies.
  • A tertiary or postgraduate qualification in HR.
  • Demonstrated success in leading strategic HR initiatives that attract, recruit, and retain top talent.
  • Strong ability to foster inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
  • Broad expertise across the full HR lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Maltese employment law and HR best practices.
  • A forward-looking mindset, using HR data and insights to shape strategic plans.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Maltese language skills are an advantage.
  • Adaptability, with the ability to embrace and respond effectively to new challenges.
