Digital Learning and Training Designer (Development)

  South of Malta  |  €32,000 - €35,000 Annually 

Our client is looking to recruit a Digital Learning and Training Designer to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will report to the Senior Learning and Training Specialist and will:

  • Design and develop e-learning modules and blended training programs using ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, or other proven instructional design methodologies.
  • Translate complex or technical content into engaging, effective learning materials for adult learners in a corporate environment.
  • Create and maintain storyboards, course outlines, scripts, and learning assets aligned with defined learning objectives.
  • Produce compelling graphics, illustrations, infographics, animations, and videos to enhance learner engagement.
  • Design multimedia content for internal communications, employee events, and external campaigns.
  • Support training needs assessments to identify learning gaps and define learning goals.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, department heads, and stakeholders to align training content with business objectives and brand standards.
  • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS): create users, upload courses/tests, and manage roles and permissions.
  • Provide technical support to learners and troubleshoot LMS-related issues.
  • Monitor and analyze learner progress and course effectiveness using LMS reporting tools.
  • Evaluate LMS usage and learning impact, recommending improvements based on data insights.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in corporate learning and development.
  • Support the implementation of new learning technologies and platforms as needed.
  • Manage multiple learning design projects with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Maintain and update training matrices in coordination with team leads and employees.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in education, training, learning & development or a related field.
  • A Certificate in E Learning development, Learning Technologies, digital learning content development, or a relevant field is a must.
  • Previous experience as a digital learning and training developer or similar role is required.
  • Experience working with e-learning authoring software Articulate 365
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience in using image and video editing tools.
  • Ability in leading projects remotely.
  • English at a very high level (writing, reading and speaking) – Level C1 or C2 is required.
