Working between 15–20 hours per week, you’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless payroll experience to a diverse portfolio of clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work closely with payroll managers and clients to ensure monthly payrolls are processed smoothly, accurately, and on time.
- Collect, upload, and maintain payroll data with a keen eye for detail.
- Prepare and extract payroll reports, including earnings summaries, tax deductions, leave balances, and non-taxable wages.
- Calculate statutory contributions and payroll liabilities with confidence and precision.
- Build trusted, long-lasting client relationships that foster satisfaction and confidence in the service delivered.
- Resolve payroll queries by investigating discrepancies and providing clear, timely answers.
- Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Support colleagues with team goals, project documentation, and shared initiatives.
- Provide reliable, accurate client advisory support on payroll-related matters.
- Contribute to overall team success with flexibility and a proactive attitude.
- Assist with ad-hoc reports and any additional duties as needed.
The role focuses on morning working hours.
Requirements
- Previous local experience in payroll for a minimum of 1-2 years
- Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Maltese would also be given preference
Education and Experience
- A minimum of A'level standard of education
