Candidate Engagement Specialist

Role Summary:

As a Candidate Engagement Specialist, you will play a vital role in sourcing and engaging international candidates to build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for our recruitment efforts. You will be responsible for actively reaching out to potential candidates, nurturing relationships, and supporting the expansion of our candidate pool. This role is key to enhancing our recruitment capabilities by directly connecting with and attracting top talent.

Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing & Outreach

  • Actively search for and identify potential candidates through various channels, including online platforms (job boards, professional networks, social media), networking, and referral programs.
  • Reach out to prospective candidates via email, phone calls, and social media to introduce Expedition42, our client opportunities, and assess their initial interest and suitability.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to understand specific position requirements and tailor outreach messages accordingly.
  • Candidate Relationship Building & Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, understanding their skills, experience, career aspirations, and availability.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of potential and active candidates, meticulously tracking communication and engagement activities.
  • Ensure consistent and timely communication with candidates throughout the engagement process, providing a positive candidate experience.

Pipeline & Database Management

  • Regularly update candidate information in the database, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Assist in segmenting the candidate pool for targeted communication and campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on personal candidate outreach activities and pipeline status.

Recruitment Support

  • Assist in the initial prescreening of candidates to assess their qualifications against job requirements.
  • Support the scheduling and coordination of interviews as needed.
  • Contribute to maintaining active engagement on social media platforms to attract and interact with a potential talent audience.
  • Collaboration & Best Practices:
  • Work closely with the recruitment team and Candidate Engagement Manager to align on sourcing strategies and priorities.
  • Follow established best practices and guidelines for candidate outreach, engagement, and relationship-building.
  • Provide input and feedback on the effectiveness of different sourcing channels and engagement techniques.
  • Collaborate with other teams involved in sourcing international candidates if required, particularly during peak hiring periods.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong research and outreach skills, with proficiency in using online sourcing tools and platforms.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and data management capabilities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience

  • Proven experience in a candidate sourcing, recruitment support, or similar role.
