Reporting to the Sales Director, your role will involve optimising sales, acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring seamless and top-quality event execution.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Sales team in enhancing productivity by arranging customer appointments and providing current, high-quality support materials.
- Managing urgent communications (calls, emails, messages) during Sales Representatives' unavailability, addressing customer inquiries, updating them on delays, coordinating delivery dates, and scheduling marketing events.
- Handling sales inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions, as well as processing orders.
- Entering orders, ensuring they meet customer specifications, and guaranteeing timely and accurate delivery.
- Collaborating with other departments to streamline sales, marketing, inquiries, and deliveries.
- Establishing and maintaining filing systems for sales records, generating reports, and supplying financial data to the Finance department.
- Participating in fairs, trade events, and other marketing activities.
Requirements
- Being a people's person and bale to work well in a team.
- Must have a good attitude and good communication skills.
- Sound IT skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is essential.
Education and Experience
- Must be well-spoken in both English and Maltese.
- Having a good knowledge of Events in general will be considered an asset.
- Experience in a similar industry will be advantageous.
- Recognised educational qualifications from either ITS, MCAST or the University of Malta.
