Our client, operating in the Food & Beverage industry, is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor, to join their growing teams. Reporting to the Assistant Manager/Restaurant Manager.The responsibilities include:
- Managing the day to day running of the outlet.
- Maintaining and improving the Food and Beverage Service, productivity, manning levels, effective people management and assisting in training as needed.
- Supervising Restaurant staff, verifying that all areas are neat and tidy for the coming shift.
- Informing all staff on duty about any last-minute arrangements and coordinating with the kitchen accordingly.
- Inspects all equipment regularly to ensure that it is safe and in good condition and conforms with all local laws as well as HACCP.
- Achieving all financial targets, while working towards minimizing wastage in all areas.
- Handling the Restaurant cash float during service, ensuring that all transactions balance out at the end of the shift.
- Following all local laws relating to the industry as well as HACCP.
- Practicing good leadership skills and motivates staff, to maximize staff satisfaction and productivity.
- Keeping updated on new and changing trends withing the market.
Working hours are Monday - Sunday on a roster basis.
Requirements
- Proven local work experience in a Supervisory role within F&B is a must.
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the establishment's hours of operation.
- Possess a valid Food Handlers License.
Education and Experience
- Qualification in hospitality management of equivalent will be considered as an asset
