Our client in the restaurant industry is looking for someone who can help them with Operations and manager responsibilities to join their team. Please find the duties and responsibilities below:
Duties and Responsibilities are but not limited to:
Lead and motivate the restaurant team during shifts to deliver exceptional customer service and in-depth product knowledge.
Oversee the day-to-day running of the restaurant, ensuring service runs smoothly and efficiently.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, performing satisfaction checks and resolving any complaints professionally.
Ensure all food and drinks are high-quality, well-presented, and served promptly and accurately.
Manage staff scheduling, training (both new and existing employees), and performance management.
Create an inclusive work environment and engage in succession planning to help team members achieve professional goals.
Contribute to revenue targets by training the team on effective upselling and personalized recommendations.
Handle inventory management, stock control, and purchasing in accordance with company procedures.
Strictly enforce food handling, hygiene, and health and safety procedures at all times.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and all service areas.
Coordinate closely with the Operations Manager and other departments to ensure effective communication.
Requirements
Proven ability to manage, train, and motivate a diverse team
Strong skills in managing internal and external stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written skills to connect with customers and share information clearly
Ability to remain calm and focused while solving problems in a fast-paced environment
Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a smart appearance
Education and Experience
Previous experience managing staff within a restaurant environment is required
