We are currently seeking a Pastry Chef to join a high-level hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods. This role requires creativity, precision, and strong attention to detail.
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, and other baked goods;
Develop new attractive menus;
Ensure all products meet quality, presentation, and taste standards;
Manage daily kitchen operations within the pastry section;
Monitor stock levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies;
Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with food safety regulations;
Supervise and train junior pastry staff;
Control food costs, minimize waste, and ensure efficient use of ingredients;
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
Requirements
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation;
Creativity and attention to detail;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
Good time management and organizational skills;
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards;
Fluency in professional English, both written and spoken.
Education and Experience
Previous local experience within a pastry kitchen, supervising a team;
