One of our clients within the hospitality is looking for a Kitchen Helper to support their culinary team.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients) under chef supervision;
- Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, equipment, and kitchen surfaces;
- Receive and store deliveries;
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times;
Requirements
- Hands-on attitude, keen to learn kitchen operations, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene principles
- Team-player mindset with a positive, proactive attitude
- SkillPass is required for TCNs
- Willing to work on roster basis Monday to Sunday and public holidays
- Currently residing in Gozo or willing to relocate from Malta;
Education and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is required
