Housekeeper

A boutique hotel based in Malta, is currently seeking to recruit a housekeeper to join their growing team The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across guest rooms and public areas.

Cleaning and servicing guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas in line with hotel standards;

Changing bed linen and towels, while replenishing guest amenities;

Ensuring all areas are kept clean, and welcoming at all times;

Reporting any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management;

Following health, safety, and hygiene procedures consistently;

Handling cleaning products and equipment responsibly;

Assistant with breakfast service when needed; 

Responding professionally and courteously to guest requests.

This role is being offered on a day-shift basis.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills;
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
• Flexibility to work on roster basis including Sunday and public holiday;
• Professional verbal communication skills in English is required. Fluency in Maltese is considered an asset.

Education and Experience

• Minimum 1 year local experience in a housekeeping role within a hotel environment is a must.
