Hotel Manager

  North of Malta  |  Up to €60,000 Annually 

Our client is looking to recruit a Hotel Manager. The chosen candidate will:

  • Oversee daily hotel operations in alignment with the organizational structure and business goals.
  • Conduct regular briefings and meetings with department heads to ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Ensure full compliance with operating controls, SOPs, company policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Lead key property initiatives, including capital projects, refurbishments, and guest service enhancements.
  • Manage guest feedback channels and oversee service recovery processes to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Prepare, present, and execute the hotel’s annual operating budget, sales & marketing plan, and capital expenditure plan.
  • Drive profitability by achieving and exceeding revenue, service, and guest satisfaction targets.
  • Define and deliver both short-term and long-term strategic goals for the property.
  • Implement cost-saving measures and continuous improvement initiatives across all operations.
  • Monitor daily business performance reports and adjust operational strategies as needed.
  • Ensure accurate monthly financial forecasts for Rooms, F&B, Administration, and General expenses.
  • Maximize room yield and overall revenue through effective sales strategies and yield management programs.
  • Provide monthly financial and performance reports to ownership and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee procurement of operating supplies and equipment, including negotiation with third-party vendors.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, POS, and restaurant management software.
  • Skilled in financial management, including P&L analysis and strategic planning.
  • Up to date with hospitality trends and best practices.
  • Guest-oriented and service-minded with a focus on results.
  • Must be able to commit to a 24/7 operation and be present during different hours and days.

Education and Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in hospitality locally, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
  • Previous experience as a Head of Department, Assistant General Manager, or Executive Assistant Manager.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and deliver measurable results.
