Our client is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to join their team in the hospitality industry, responsible for leading front desk operations and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
The Key Responsibilities are as follows:
- Ensure guests are warmly welcomed, efficiently checked in and out, and correctly allocated rooms.
- Supervise check-in procedures to ensure accurate collection of guest details, including addresses and billing information.
- Remain accessible to handle guest complaints or issues professionally.
- Ensure rooms meet service and maintenance standards before guest arrival.
- Facilitate effective communication between front office, reservations, housekeeping, billing, maintenance, and F&B departments.
- Ensure guest charges are accurately recorded and accounts are kept current.
- Enforce credit control measures, ensuring no billing limits are exceeded without approval and proper documentation.
- Oversee efficient guest check-out processes.
- Handle guest enquiries, messages, and bookings courteously and promptly.
- Ensure Front of House staff maintain proper grooming and adhere to dress code standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all Front of House and back office areas.
- Oversee timely delivery of wake-up calls, messages, newspapers, and parcels.
- Supervise professional handling of all incoming and outgoing calls.
- Set and monitor sales targets for rooms and F&B within the Front Office team.
- Drive revenue through upselling and other promotional initiatives.
- Ensure secure handling and storage of items in safety deposit boxes.
- Conduct regular inspections of Front of House areas and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Keep the hotel entrance accessible at all times for guest vehicles and taxis.
- Plan staff schedules and distribute workloads effectively across shifts.
- Assist in developing and monitoring the departmental budget to uphold service quality.
Working Hours:
Five-day work week totalling to 40 hours, with weekend shifts included as part of the schedule.
Requirements
- Opera Cloud PMS
- Strong understanding of reservation systems, distribution platforms, and front office operations.
- Proven ability to lead teams effectively, communicate clearly, and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, encompassing weekends and holidays.
Education and Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in the same position
