Our client is a renowned name in hospitality on the Maltese Islands. They are seeking a creative and committed Food & Beverage Manager to join their management team. This role is central to overseeing all food and beverage operations while maintaining high service standards.
The Role
The manager will be responsible for outlining departmental strategies aligned with yearly budgets and sales plans. This includes managing daily operations, adhering to food safety regulations, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
You will set KPIs, creating policies, and ensuring departmental goals are achieved efficiently.
A major part of the role involves recruitment, training, and development of staff to foster teamwork and motivation.
You will collaborate closely with the culinary team to develop innovative menus that stay competitive.
Identifying opportunities to improve sales and increase profitability is an ongoing expectation.
The role requires continuous coordination with all departments to support smooth service delivery.
You must also review and enhance business procedures to drive operational improvements.
Monthly revenue, productivity, and cost analysis form an essential part of performance management.
Requirements
Hold a qualification from a recognized hotel, catering, or culinary institution.
Have at least five years of senior management experience within the hotel industry, along with strong knowledge of food production and restaurant service.
