Events Sales Manager

Our client, an Established Group of Companies within the Hospitality Industry, is recruiting for a highly organised and proactive Events Sales Manager for local events. Reporting to the Director of Sales, your duties will include;

• Staying informed about industry trends and local market dynamics related to private events
• Working collaboratively with the Director of Sales to develop strategies for maximizing revenue and enhancing guest experiences
• Being responsible to achieve the yearly sales target
• Maintaining a thorough understanding of hotel facilities and amenities to effectively communicate value propositions to clients
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures in the booking and contracting process
• Monitoring and analysing sales data to track performance and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events and exceptional guest experiences
• Actively participating in sales strategy development and implementation, including upselling opportunities and lead generation

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar position within recognized hotel brands locally
• Good understanding of the local market
• Proficient in building strong client relationships and managing accounts at various levels.
• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal communication, negotiation, and people management skills are essential.
• Capability to clearly present sales strategies to a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Readiness to exhibit resilience, adaptability, motivation, and a goal-driven approach.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and industry related management systems.
