Our client, in the legal industry, is seeking to recruit an Events & Marketing Executive to join its expanding Business Development & Marketing team. This position plays a key role in organizing and delivering the firm’s internal and external events, while also supporting a broad range of marketing and communications activities. The key responsibilities are as follows:
- Plan and execute a variety of events, including in-person and online seminars, conferences, webinars, and sponsorship engagements
- Coordinate all event logistics, such as venue setup, speaker arrangements, attendee registration, catering, branding, and follow-up reporting.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of content for legal rankings and awards, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Act as a liaison with legal directories, event organizers, and publishers to enhance the firm’s visibility and brand presence.
- Support the distribution of legal insights and firm news across digital platforms and print media.
- Maintain and manage a calendar of editorial opportunities, submission deadlines, and ongoing marketing activities.
- Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, client updates, branded merchandise, and internal communications, in line with the firm’s brand guidelines.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistent brand identity across all communications and materials.
- Provide administrative and reporting support to the marketing team, including tracking budgets and measuring campaign effectiveness.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of event planning, social media, and digital marketing best practices.
- Previous experience in legal or professional services marketing is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe InDesign or Canva) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) is an advantage.
- Outstanding written and spoken English communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, able to work independently, and comfortable managing tasks under pressure.
- Confident and personable, with strong interpersonal abilities.
Education and Experience
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role involving events, marketing, or communications.
- Experience handling legal directory submissions and engaging with publishers is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Adobe tools (Photoshop, InDesign) and CMS platforms like WordPress is considered beneficial.
