We are seeking a skilled and versatile Chef Tournant to join the kitchen team of a boutique hotel. This role is ideal for an experienced chef who can work across multiple sections and support smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Work flexibly across different kitchen sections as required
Cover staff absences, peak service periods, and special events
Prepare and present dishes in line with established recipes and standards
Maintain consistency in quality, portioning, and presentation
Support efficient service during busy shifts
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures
Assist wiih stock takes, mise en place, and waste reduction
Culinary qualification preferred (not essential)
HACCP/Food Handling certification or willingness to obtain

Requirements
Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with menus, recipes, and company standards;
Work flexibly across all kitchen sections as required (hot kitchen, cold kitchen, larder, pastry, breakfast);
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team;
Maintain consistency in portion control, taste, presentation, and quality;
Flexibility to work evening, weekends and public holidays;
Currently based in Malta and eligible to work.
Education and Experience
Previous experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or Chef Tournant, preferably in Malta;
