Our client, a reputable group of companies in the hospitality, intellectual property, and construction sector is looking to recruit an Assistant F&B Manager to join their team. The chosen candidate will be responsible to:
- Monitor and control expenditures to stay within budget, through regular analysis of costs and revenues;
- Implement cost-saving measures, such as portion control and waste reduction, while maintaining quality;
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all F&B outlets to ensure consistency in service and quality;
- Gather guest feedback through surveys, comment cards, and online reviews. Use feedback to make improvements and enhance guest satisfaction;
- Train staff to anticipate guests' needs and preferences, offering personalized service whenever possible;
- Equip your team with conflict resolution skills to address guest concerns promptly and effectively;
- Hire individuals with the right skills and attitude, and provide comprehensive training to align them with the hotel's standards.;
- Foster a positive work environment through open communication, recognition, and opportunities for professional growth;
- Ensure new employees receive proper orientation and on-the-job training to set them up for success;
- Provide regular training sessions to keep staff updated on best practices and new trends in the industry;
- Offer constructive feedback and coaching to help employees grow and improve their performance;
- Recognize and reward excellent performance to boost morale and motivation;
- Set clear key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and guide improvement efforts;
- Develop clear policies and procedures to guide operations and maintain consistency;
- Hold regular meetings with staff to discuss performance, share updates, and provide training and support;
- Ensure all F&B operations comply with local health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Education and Experience
- Must have at least 2 years in a managerial role within a multi-outlet (minimum of 3/4), high-volume operation
- Proven management experience in hotel operations within the food and beverage area is a must
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).
