A leading company in Malta has recently undergone a restructuring within its Operations Department and is now seeking to expand its QHSE team. We are looking to recruit proactive QHSE Supervisors who will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance within the operation.
In this hands-on role, the selected candidates will support the implementation of QHSE policies and procedures, ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements, and actively promote a strong safety culture across all operational areas.
What You’ll Do
- Enforce safety policies, procedures, and best practices across the terminal.
- Monitor compliance with Maltese regulations, international standards, and company guidelines.
- Conduct on-site safety checks, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Support investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with operations teams, management, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure a safe working environment.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a medium to high-risk environment (ports, shipping, logistics, or heavy industry preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence to intervene and enforce safety requirements.
- Ability to carry out effective risk assessments and implement control measures.
- Fluency in English is a must whilst Maltese is preferred
- A commitment to professional growth; candidates will be required to obtain the NEBOSH IGC during the one-year probation period (fully sponsored by the company).
