A leading company within the maritime industry are looking for a Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s QHSE policies and procedures in compliance with international and local regulations (ISO, IMO, SOLAS, OHSAS, etc.).
Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards across all operations.
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Develop training programs to raise awareness of QHSE issues among employees and contractors.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and report findings to management.
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure QHSE objectives are integrated into project planning and execution.
Maintain documentation and prepare QHSE performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and environmental performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in QHSE management, preferably in maritime, shipbuilding, or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of international safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective improvement measures.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
