HSSE Assistant Officer

A leading international company in the Maritime industry are looking for an HSSE Officer Assistant to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company’s health, safety, and environmental strategies.
- Organize, coordinate, and deliver training on safety and environmental practices.
- Ensure appropriate protective equipment is provided to employees and that its usage is consistently enforced.
- Conduct risk assessments as required and implement necessary measures.
- Stay updated with current legislation, regulations, and standards related to health, safety, and the environment.
- Maintain and regularly update emergency response plans and procedures.
- Monitor and enforce safety procedures across all departments.
- Oversee operations to ensure compliance with established safety protocols.
- Achieve and maintain company health and safety objectives.
- Perform other duties as required within the scope of the role.
Requirements
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in drafting reports and policies related to health and safety.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Italian.
