A major company in Malta is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Health & Safety Manager to lead safety strategy and strengthen their commitment to protecting employees, passengers, and the community. This is a new role with the opportunity to make a significant impact across a large and dynamic operation.

What You’ll Do

Lead the development and implementation of health & safety policies, procedures, and company-wide strategies.
Oversee risk assessments, audits, inspections, and compliance monitoring
Investigate incidents, analyse trends, and drive proactive safety improvements.
Deliver safety training and promote a strong, positive safety culture across all teams.
Collaborate with regulatory authorities and ensure full legal and standards compliance.
Manage safety reporting, emergency preparedness, and wellbeing initiatives.
Maintain and enhance the organisation’s ISO-compliant Quality Management System (QMS).

What You’ll Bring

Solid experience in health & safety management, ideally in transport, logistics, or high-risk operations.
Strong knowledge of Maltese H&S legislation and industry best practice.
Skilled in risk assessments, audits, investigations, and safety system development.
Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
Relevant H&S qualifications (NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent).
A proactive mindset and passion for building a safer, more resilient organisation.
