Our client who specializes in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety Officer. Your roles and responsibilities will include:
Conduct regular Health, Safety and Environmental risk assessments
Organise training of staff on Health, Safety and Environmental topics
Assist in monitoring environmental activities, waste management and water treatment
Updating, reviewing, and monitoring the Health, Safety and Environmental systems
Carry out studies and research to identify possible improvement solutions to the Health, Safety and Environmental management system
Assisting in maintain the IPPC permit and ISO 14001 Environmental Management standard
Requirements
A minimum of three years experience in EPHS or in a relevant area, preferably in a pharmaceutical/chemical environment.
Being proficient in English and ideally also in Maltese
A desire to further develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced business
Education and Experience
Minimum of a Degree qualification in a related area, a Masters degree will be considered as an asset.
