Senior Pharmacy Assistant / Pharmacy Technician

Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Pharmacy Assistant / Pharmacy Technician to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will:

• Support and oversee daily dispensary workflow, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and full compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Actively contribute to the delivery and coordination of POYC services, ensuring adherence to service protocols and smooth operational execution.
• Assist with stock control activities, including ordering, inventory management, stock monitoring, and stock rotation.
• Perform administrative and operational duties such as:
• Inputting supplier invoices
• Reconciling delivery dockets
• Checking and receiving stock
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Deliver high standards of customer service and maintain professional communication with patients, healthcare providers, and suppliers.
• Support management with day-to-day operational tasks and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant dispensary environment.

Requirements

• Leadership skills with the ability to guide and support team members.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Education and Experience

• Proven experience in a pharmacy or dispensary environment.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory standards.
• Experience with POYC services will be highly regarded.
• A recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification would be considered a strong asset.
