Quality Officer / Responsible Person

Our client, a leading organisation within the Healthcare Industry, is recruiting for a Quality Officer / Responsible Person to join their growing team. Reporting to the Quality Manager, your duties will include;

• Ensuring that all Quality Management System (QMS) activities within the company are carried out in an effective and efficient manner
• Ensuring that company systems, processes, procedures, and documentation are compliant with the relevant local and international regulatory and legislative quality frameworks
• Writing, reviewing, and authorising specifications, sampling instructions, test methods, and other quality procedures and documents (including risk assessments) as necessary
• Performing product analysis and equipment calibrations and qualifications as and when required and document results
• Overseeing the warehouse / distribution operation, specifically the distribution of medicinal produce
• Laboratory consumables stock management; Initiating and participating in respective quality investigations

Requirements

• Eligibility / Interest to attain a Pharmacy/RP Status
• Previous experience within a Quality Function would be an asset
• An understanding of GMP Standards and Regulations
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Reliable, mature and responsible
• Professional level of English and preferably fluent in Maltese
• Based Locally

Education and Experience

• A recognized qualification (Bachelors Degree or better) in Pharmacy
