Our client, a company specialising in water solutions and is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Operations Manager to oversee and optimise the company’s operational activities.
The Role
Manage the day-to-day operational activities of the company, including warehouse operations, inventory management, order processing, and logistics coordination.
Oversee procurement activities, including supplier coordination, purchasing, and monitoring lead times to ensure product availability while maintaining optimal stock levels.
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency, productivity, and service delivery.
Coordinate closely with the sales team to ensure accurate order processing, timely deliveries, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Monitor operational performance through key performance indicators such as stock accuracy, order fulfilment rates, delivery timelines, and cost efficiency.
Supervise warehouse operations including receiving, storage, stock control, and dispatch of products, ensuring proper handling and organisation of materials.
Lead and manage the operations team, including warehouse and logistics personnel, providing guidance, performance monitoring, and training where necessary.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms while ensuring product quality and reliability of supply.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and support business growth.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, company policies, and relevant regulatory requirements related to operational activities.
Work closely with management to support operational planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.
Prepare operational reports and provide insights to management to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Support the business with ad-hoc operational projects and initiatives as required.

Ideally have wholesale/retail experience but not a must
