We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of a luxury 5-star beach club concept. This role demands a hands-on leader with a hospitality mindset, operational excellence, and an unwavering focus on guest experience. You will be responsible for delivering a seamless, world-class environment across, bar services, beach services, events, and wellness operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Operational Excellence
- Oversee and coordinate all day-to-day operations, bar services, reservations, beach services, entertainment, and guest experience.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety across all club facilities (beachfront, pool, lounge, bar, spa, and VIP areas).
- Implement SOPs and ensure consistent execution in line with the 5-star brand standard.
2. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, train, and inspire a multidisciplinary team: service staff, chefs, lifeguards, beach attendants, housekeeping, and security.
- Foster a culture of hospitality, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Schedule and optimize staffing levels to ensure service quality during peak and off-peak hours.
3. Guest Experience & Service
- Champion a guest-first culture, ensuring personalized and seamless service for members, VIPs, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and diplomatically.
- Monitor guest feedback channels (reviews, surveys, comment cards) and implement service enhancements.
4. Financial Oversight
- Manage operational budgets, cost control, and revenue targets.
- Work closely with F&B and retail teams to drive profitability through upselling and efficient inventory management.
- Analyze financial performance reports (P&L, labor costs, etc.) and adjust strategies as needed.
5. Events & Experiences
- Support or lead the execution of private events, beach parties, DJ nights, wellness classes, and seasonal programming.
- Liaise with entertainment providers, event planners, and marketing teams to maintain a vibrant calendar.
6. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations, environmental laws, licensing, and labor laws.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments for all areas of operation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in operations management within high-end hospitality (beach clubs, resorts, luxury hotels, or lifestyle venues).
- Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of beverage operations, guest services, and premium leisure experiences.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., French, Spanish, Italian) are a plus
- Passion for luxury hospitality, lifestyle, and coastal living.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in launching or scaling a beach club or hospitality concept.
