We are looking for an experienced and organised Laundry Manager to oversee all laundry operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, leading a team, and maintaining quality control.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the laundry department;
Supervise, train, and motivate the team to achieve operational targets;
Monitor productivity levels and implement improvements where necessary;
Maintain inventory levels of linen, chemicals, and supplies, ensuring cost control and minimal waste;
Oversee the proper use and maintenance of laundry equipment, coordinating repairs when required;
Prepare rosters, reports, manage budgets, and control departmental expenses;
Support the recruitment process and train new employees;
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards;
Collaborate other departments to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.
Requirements
Previous experience in a laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality management role is a must;
Strong leadership and team management skills;
Knowledge of laundry equipment and chemicals;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities;
Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Education and Experience
minimum of 2 years’ experience in laundry operations, housekeeping, or a related field;
A diploma in housekeeping or a related discipline will be considered an asset.
