A growing retail company in Malta is seeking to appoint a General Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business, managing and motivating staff, and ensuring that the company consistently achieves its commercial objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including sales, logistics, and support services.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO on business strategy, growth planning, and financial performance.
- Drive new customer acquisition through effective sales processes and proactive market engagement.
- Monitor budgets, manage cash flow, and contribute to financial reporting.
- Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to increase revenue
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and customers
- Monitor and analyse market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
- Champion a culture of customer-first service and operational excellence
- Represent the organization at industry events and trade fairs

Requirements
- Degree level of education is preferred
- Proven management experience in operations, with a strong focus on sales
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross function teams
