We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the operations of two apartment-style hotels. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management with a proven track record in sales and marketing. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive guest satisfaction, optimize profitability, and strategically grow the hotel’s presence in the market.
Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards and addressing guest feedback.
- Manage and train department heads and staff to maintain efficient workflows.
Sales & Marketing
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase occupancy and revenue.
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and online distribution channels.
- Oversee digital marketing, social media campaigns, and promotional strategies to enhance brand visibility.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
Financial Performance
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability; implement cost-control measures as needed.
- Optimize pricing strategies through revenue management techniques.
Leadership & Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members, fostering a positive work culture.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and staff development programs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal standards.
Property & Guest Relations
- Maintain the upkeep and presentation of hotel facilities to brand standards.
- Act as the face of the property with guests, clients, and stakeholders.
- Handle escalated guest issues with professionalism and resolution-focused communication.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hospitality as an Operations or Hotel Manager, ideally in apartment or extended-stay properties.
- Strong background in sales and marketing, with demonstrable success in increasing revenue and occupancy.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel management software and digital marketing tools.
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Experience in pre-opening projects or rebranding properties is preferred
- Familiarity with OTA platforms, CRM systems, and revenue management strategies.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and tourism partners.
