A leading company in Malta are looking for a Facilities Manager to manage a residential care home. .
Responsibilities:
Provide personalized physical and psycho-social care fostering professional integrity to cultivate positive relationships among staff and residents.
Ensure compliance with company standards, legal regulations, and service users’ needs by overseeing food operations, housekeeping, maintenance, administrative services, and legislative requirements, including audits.
Ensure efficient operations through timely reporting, procurement management, regulatory compliance, and comprehensive asset management, including inventory control and capital expenditure facilitation.
Implement efficient financial management practices, including cost control, resource allocation, and waste reduction initiatives, while ensuring adherence to budget goals
Foster constructive relationships with stakeholders including government bodies, residents, staff, and relatives while employing proactive conflict resolution strategies to address complaints and minimize conflicts.
Requirements:
Degree in Health and Social Care will be considered an asset
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role; Nursing Background experience will be considered an asset
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate the ability to handle challenging situations, delegate effectively, and show empathy towards clients and staff.
Exhibit excellent time management, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.
Lead with integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness, promoting professionalism in all interactions.
