Chief Operating Officer

Our client a leader in the financial servicies is looking for a Chief Operations Officer to join their team 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the work of core operational areas, including IT, risk, payments, and customer service.
• Ensure all operations meet MFSA requirements and comply with relevant EU regulatory standards.
• Drive the organisation’s digital transformation by introducing new technologies, automation, and efficient workflows.
• Shape and execute operational plans that support the company’s strategic goals.
• Promote continuous improvement by reviewing, refining, and documenting processes.
• Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to support long-term strategic decisions.
• Oversee operational risk controls, business continuity planning, and resilience measures.
• Strengthen collaboration between departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor performance through KPIs and operational reporting to maintain accountability.
• Lead change initiatives and guide teams through system upgrades and process enhancements.

Requirements

• Proven senior leadership experience in financial services operations.
• Strong knowledge of MFSA regulatory requirements and EU finance legislation.
• Demonstrated experience in digital transformation or leading digitalization initiatives.
