Valuation Officer

Our client, an International Investment company is looking to recruit a Valuation Officer to join their growing team.

Main responsibilities :

• Responsible of the whole valuation process.
• Review valuation models, methodologies, and assumptions for accuracy and compliance
• Liaise with fund administrators, portfolio managers, and external valuers
• Ensure valuation processes comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements 
• Prepare valuation reports and documentation for internal committees and regulators
• Responsible for the ongoing enhancement of valuation policies and procedures
• Assist in monitoring market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks 
• Prepare risk reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory submissions
• Participate in the development and maintenance of risk frameworks and controls

Requirements

• Good understanding of financial instruments and valuation methodologies (preferred)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail
• Programming skills are essential to enhance and further develop existing models and tools, with particular emphasis on proficiency in Python

Education and Experience

• Previous experience in fund administration, audit, valuation, or finance preferred
