Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

A client of ours specialising in the iGaming sector is currently looking to onboard a Senior FP&A Manager to join their team; The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis with a focus on budget management, along with a proven ability to develop and mentor a team of finance professionals:

Duties:

  • Lead the annual and quarterly budgeting processes, ensuring financial plans are aligned with the company’s strategic goals and reflective of the online gaming market dynamics.
  • Develop, maintain, and refine advanced financial models for budgeting and forecasting, incorporating industry-specific metrics and scenario analysis.
  • Collaborate with key department heads to collect, analyse, and leverage financial data for strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances, and formulating strategies for optimisation and efficiency improvement.
  • Establish and enforce stringent budgeting policies and controls to uphold financial integrity and compliance throughout the company.
  • Drive the evolution of financial reporting and analytics practices, tailoring processes to meet the unique needs of the online gaming industry.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering an environment of professional growth, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Remain informed about industry trends, the competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that could impact financial strategies.

Requirements

  • Must have over 5 (five) years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, with significant experience in the online gaming or digital entertainment industries
  • A proven track record in financial modelling, budgeting, and variance analysis, with a deep understanding of the economic factors unique to the online gaming sector
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in building and supervising finance teams in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in financial software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and Excel; experience with gaming analytics platforms is advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and organisational skills, combined with the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
  • Must have excellent communication skills in English

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field with an MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly preferred
