Our client, a small yet dynamic international firm, is seeking a talented professional to support their clients with MFSA licensing and regulatory compliance needs. They are open to considering profile on a part time or full time basis:
Duties:
- Provide expert technical guidance on licensable activities, governance structures, financial requirements, and process diagram flows.
- Draft, review, and refine key documents, including application forms, business plans, policies, and contracts.
- Oversee and review work produced by internal team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and regulatory bodies, managing licensing projects and compliance matters.
- Provide regulatory advice on retainer-based or ad-hoc queries related to compliance requirements.
- Assist with intricate client requests, including M&A transactions or other high-level regulatory challenges
Requirements
- Must have a sound knowledge and background in Fintech services
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must have a minimum of 3 years local experience and a solid rapport with the Regulator
- Knowledge of and experience with Maltese law and regulations is a must
Education and Experience
- A related qualification in Financial Services is a must, and deally in possession of a Law Dwgree
