Our client, a European Investment firm, is seeking to recruit a Portfolio Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be PQ'd for the role and able to work flexible hours to align with trading requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and screening candidate targets
- Following global market developments
- Handling the financial analysis which includes modeling, valuation, peer group analysis
- Translating detailed investment analysis into a focused thesis and practical recommendation
- Communicating of investment recommendations to trading desks
- Handling the ongoing monitoring of benchmark index developments, fund cash positions, portfolio concentrations, performance attributions and risk parameters
- Handling key meetings and reporting
- Supporting in the day to day
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar role and industry
- Must be eligible or previously PQ'd by MFSA
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Working hours will be from 10:00 to 18:00 to accommodate market hours
