Our client, a European Investment firm, is seeking to recruit a Portfolio Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be PQ'd for the role and able to work flexible hours to align with trading requirements.
Responsibilities:
Sourcing and screening candidate targets
Following global market developments
Handling the financial analysis which includes modeling, valuation, peer group analysis
Translating detailed investment analysis into a focused thesis and practical recommendation
Communicating of investment recommendations to trading desks
Handling the ongoing monitoring of benchmark index developments, fund cash positions, portfolio concentrations, performance attributions and risk parameters
Handling key meetings and reporting
Supporting in the day to day
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar role and industry
Must be eligible or previously PQ'd by MFSA
Excellent verbal and written English
Working hours will be from 11:00 to 19:00/20:00 to accommodate market hours
