Financial Controller

  North of Malta  |  €60,000 - €70,000 Annually 

Our client a leader in the Maltese Business is looking for a Financial Controller to lead a large project and handle other companies within the Group 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the organisation’s financial operations, including coordination with banking partners, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Assist senior management in managing major contracts and procurement activities linked to an ongoing development project.
  • Implement and maintain strong cost-control measures and provide financial monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Participate actively as part of the project’s governance and decision-making committee.
  • Progress into the position of Financial Controller for the parent company.
  • Support senior leadership in overseeing asset performance and monitoring overall financial results.
  • Provide financial guidance and oversight for an affiliated entity responsible for managing additional assets within the wider group.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior financial management role, ideally within construction, real estate development, or hospitality.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential.

Education and Experience

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
