Our client is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager who will play a key role in overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and effective financial management across the organisation. The person will report into the Chief Financial Officer.
Duties include:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, reconciliations, and reporting processes.
Oversee general ledger activities, journal entries, accruals, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.
Prepare detailed financial reports, variance analyses, and performance insights for senior management and the Board of Directors.
Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure timely submission of regulatory filings.
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Analyse financial performance against budgets and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Support strategic financial planning initiatives and business growth objectives.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal company policies.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, regulatory authorities, and financial institutions.
Monitor changes in financial legislation and IFRS standards and assess their impact on the business.
Supervise and mentor junior finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, controls, and reporting efficiencies.
Contribute to the implementation and optimisation of financial processes and ERP/accounting systems.
Requirements
Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar Finance Manager or senior accounting role.
Previous experience within an international or multi-jurisdictional environment will be considered an asset
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
Local experience is required for this role
Education and Experience
ACCA qualification or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
