On behalf of our client, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Auditor to join their team. In this role you will be reporting to the Audit Manager and will take an active role in planning, executing, and leading audit engagements.
Responsibilities:
Conduct audits for local and international clients across multiple industries, ensuring compliance with ISAs and the Cyprus Companies Law (Cap.113)
Plan, execute, and oversee audit engagements in line with IFRS and IAS requirements
Prepare, review, and finalize audit working papers and financial statements, ensuring adherence to IFRS and applicable regulations
Collaborate with internal teams and communicate effectively with clients to collect necessary information
Foster and maintain strong client relationships through professional and proactive interactions
Review the work of junior staff to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards
Monitor audit progress, manage deadlines, and provide timely updates to management
Stay informed on updates in auditing standards, IFRS, Companies Law, taxation, and other regulatory developments
Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and professional development
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
ACA/ACCA qualified or currently pursuing qualification, with relevant audit experience
Strong understanding of auditing standards (ISA), IFRS, and the Cyprus Companies Law
Demonstrated experience in leading or conducting audits for multiple clients
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines under pressure
Fluent in English and Greek; proficiency in Russian or Ukrainian is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting/audit software
Technologically adept and adaptable to new systems
High level of integrity and professionalism, with a positive, proactive attitude
