Our Client, an international company is seeking a dynamic, trustworthy, and highly autonomous Property Manager to take full ownership of the operations of two high-end short-let properties comprising approximately 10 luxury apartments, located in the heart of Valletta. This is a hands-on role requiring full operational responsibility for the day-to-day management of the properties, with a strong focus on guest experience, occupancy performance, and asset upkeep. Reporting to the Property Owners your responsibilities will also include:
Independently manage the full operation of multiple short-let apartments, exercising sound judgement and proactive decision-making
Oversee the end-to-end guest journey, from booking through check-out, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience
Coordinate and monitor check-ins and check-outs, with reception services handled remotely
Manage and coordinate housekeeping, maintenance teams, and third-party service providers
Identify, report, and resolve maintenance issues promptly to maintain high property standards
Ensure apartments are consistently clean, well-maintained, fully stocked, and presentation-ready
Handle guest communications across online booking platforms,
Respond to emergency calls and operational issues as required
Monitor occupancy levels and revenue performance, implementing operational improvements where needed
Liaise closely with external contractors and operational support staff
Requirements
Candidates must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
Proven experience in independently managing short-let rental properties, serviced apartments, or hospitality operations
Strong organisational, communication, and customer service skills
Confident using online booking platforms and digital property management tools
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
Flexible and hands-on approach to daily operations, including availability for emergencies
Fluency in English is required; additional languages are considered an asset
On-site presence at the properties and/or office as operationally required
